User Friendliness
Our website was designed with the user in mind. Anyone can easily search for qualified jobbers, post work, or search for potential employers by entering a zip code and category into our homepage.
Ratings
We encourage both employers and jobbers to rate one another upon completion of a work agreement. This provides our members with an incentive to abide by ethical business practices and offer quality service, as a rating history and comments section are viewable to other users.
Scope
Traditionally “side work” or “side jobs” are acquired by word of mouth between friends or neighbors. This is a great way to find a quality laborer or service professional, but the downside is that it lacks scope. Often neighbors or friends may not know the type of service professional you are in need of; so that is where we come in! By leveraging the traffic associated with the web and offering user ratings we have created an online community that shares word of mouth on a much larger scale.
Member Profiles
Our jobbers have profiles which list their qualifications, work history, and any other information that may differentiate them from one another. This allows employers to get a good indication as to whether they are right for the job.
Membership is free!
There are no fees associated with maintaining an account as a jobber or employer. Thus, we are providing free advertising for any jobbers looking for side work. We also allow employers to post work and search for jobbers in their community absolutely free of charge.
Email Notifications
Jobbers can receive email notifications from potential employers that would like to request their services (this is called a job invitation). Jobbers can also search for employers and send them email notifications requesting work.
